The Specialist Assessment pathway is suitable for Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) who:

  • Have completed a specialist training program and are recognised as a specialist in emergency medicine in their country of training, and
  • Are seeking registration as a specialist in emergency medicine with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA), or vocational registration in emergency medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
