Established in 2012, ACEM Foundation is the philanthropic program of the College, funding a range of ACEM grants, scholarships and sponsorships.

The place to go when looking to advertise your event, role, or are seeking sponsorship for your event from the College.

ACEM values and welcomes the contribution of community representatives and medical students and offers opportunities to get involved with the College's important work.

As a membership based organisation our work is progressed by physicians and clinicians who volunteer their time, in partnership with stakeholders and professional staff employed at the College.

ACEM develops regular publications to keep stakeholders up to date with the College's activities and emergency medicine in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.

ACEM hosts a variety of events spanning across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand annually.

The ACEM Regulations pertain to the conduct and management of the College and form the basis of decisions made by the ACEM Board.

ACEM is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) on behalf of the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and professional development programs.

ACEM is governed by the principles outlined in our Constitution. The Constitution was adopted on 15 November 2009, replacing the former Memorandum and Articles of Association, which were established at the College’s inception in 1984. The most recent amendments to the Constitution were approved in November 2019.
