A community dedicated to furthering trauma prevention and treatment by promoting multidisciplinary, patient-centred and evidence-based emergency care for trauma patients in Australia and New Zealand.
TEMN's core aims are to:
Provide leadership both nationally and internationally in the areas of education and training, advocacy in the prevention and treatment of trauma, research to support clinical excellence and the development of trauma care standards.
Foster and promote a multidisciplinary approach to quality, patient focused emergency care for single system and multi-trauma patients throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
Be the liaison group for ACEM in advising on issues concerning trauma emergency care, trauma medicine administration, management and training in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
