The Tasmanian Project aims to support approved speciality training to be undertaken and completed in Tasmania and supports the training and retention of specialist doctors in the Tasmanian health system. This investment must contribute to the sustainability of speciality training and supervisory posts for Tasmania and the delivery of high quality health services to the Tasmanian community.
ACEM currently facilitates six trainee posts, along with complementary supervisory positions in Tasmanian Emergency Departments.
