ACEM organises a diverse array of events throughout the year, featuring a range of topics. Here are some key events:

Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM):

The ASM, hosted in different cities across Australia and New Zealand, serves as a platform to enrich the knowledge and skills of emergency physicians. It encourages professional networking and is preceded by the Annual General Meeting and College Ceremony, recognising achievements and presenting prizes, awards, and honours.

Winter Symposium:

Held biennially in regional locations of Australia or New Zealand, the Winter Symposium offers an intimate meeting space for interactive sessions and networking. Delegates often extend their stay to explore the attractions of the hosting region.

Faculty Scientific Meetings:

ACEM Faculties organise annual or biennial scientific meetings within their respective states, territories, or countries. These gatherings facilitate networking, discussions on jurisdictional matters, and are open to members from other faculties.

These events collectively contribute to the professional development, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing within the emergency medicine community.
