This is more than just an opportunity to shape an exciting local conference – it’s also a perfect first step toward getting involved in the ACEM Annual Scientific Meeting 2027, which will take place in Aotearoa. If you join the 2026 NZ Conference Working Group, you’ll be given priority consideration for a spot on the ASM 2027 Working Group.

What does the Working Group do?

As a Working Group member, you’ll:
- Help shape the scientific program with content relevant to EM practice in Aotearoa
- Suggest key themes, speakers, workshops, and innovative ideas
- Collaborate on social activities and local experiences
- Work alongside the ACEM Events Team, who handle the logistics so you can focus on creativity, culture, and connection

What’s the commitment?

- Monthly virtual meetings
- Availability to attend and support the conference onsite in Nelson (March 2026)
- Collaboration via email and shared platforms between meetings
