ACEM is pleased to be involved with Australia’s National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce as it continues to update ‘living guidelines’ to help clinicians contending with the challenges presented by coronavirus.
The taskforce comprises a large coalition of peak Australian health professional groups and teams of researchers, experts and clinicians, who have come together to develop and provide the continually-updated evidence-based guidelines to clinicians caring for people with COVID-19.
The guidelines cover the clinical care of people with COVID-19 across primary, acute and critical care settings, and also complement the Clinical Guidelines for the Management of COVID-19 in Australasian emergency departments, which have been specifically developed by ACEM, and are also regularly updated by the College.
The Taskforce has been convened by the Australian Living Evidence Consortium which is based at Cochrane Australia in the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University.
