Review of the Clinical Governance of Public Mental Health Services, WA

Recommendations and reform for the care of mental patients in Western Australia including; merge governance of hospital and MH services under one system, install and enforce timelines, adopt new models of care to improve co-ordination and continuity such as after-hours support, increase funding and expand acute psychiatric services.

Policy on Organ and Tissue Donation

This Policy outlines the responsibilities of emergency physicians within the organ and tissue donation process. The principles accord with the Best Practice Guideline for Offering Organ and Tissue Donation in Australia. The Policy does not give clinical advice on donor identification, management or assessment for medical suitability.

Our Constitution

ACEM is governed by the principles outlined in our Constitution. The Constitution was adopted on 15 November 2009, replacing the former Memorandum and Articles of Association which were established at the College's inception in 1984. It was amended: 15 March 2011, 20 November 2011, November 2013 and November 2015.
