Sustainable emergency care in a changing climate: assessing impact and implementing adaptation strategies will progress strategic work endorsed by the Council of Advocacy, Practice, and Partnerships on increasing the evidence base on emergency disasters that directly impact on emergency care provision and hospital function.

The College is seeking the services of a FACEM with expertise in undertaking evidence reviews to review available evidence on this topic.

Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for FACEMs interested in applying for this role. The EOI process will be open until 8:00pm (AEST) Friday 21st July 2023.

Project Delivery Requirements

The project will provide funding for 25 days of work.

The successful candidate will be contracted to undertake a systematic review of emergency departments response to climate change.

The initial phase of work must be conducted over August 2023 (approximately 12-15 days), in order to provide guidance on College data collection by Friday 1 September. The remaining days will be utilised to finalise findings and report back to the project working group by Friday 29 September.
