Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Māori Fellows, trainees and members of the College are strongly encouraged to apply.

The primary role of the Steering Group is to provide leadership on and champion the implementation of the
College’s Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana (Manaaki Mana Strategy: Excellence in Emergency Care for Māori). In doing so, it will:

  • oversee the implementation of Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana;
  • ensure good working relationships with those departments, committees and staff with responsibilities assigned in Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana; and
  • promoting best practice, excellence and innovation relating to Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana implementation.

The commitment will involve videoconference meetings approximately three times a year and one workshop style face-to-face meeting, with additional meetings as required.

(Please note that current and past members of the Manaaki Mana Rōpū are eligible to apply.)

The call for EOIs will close on midnight Sunday 17 December 2023 (AEDT).
