Annual Requirements
Minimum of 50 hours of CPD activities per year between the following types of CPD activities:
- Minimum of 25 hours (50%) of CPD activities focused on Reviewing Performance and Measuring Outcomes (participants decide the best mix for these activities to suit their practice), with:
- A minimum of 5 hours Reviewing Performance activities
- A minimum of 5 hours Measuring Outcomes activities
- Remaining 15 hours can be from either the Reviewing Performance or Measuring Outcomes CPD categories
- Minimum of 12.5 hours (25%) Educational Activities
- Remaining 12.5 hours (25%) can be made up of CPD activities from any of the CPD categories.
3 core procedural skills by performance, teaching or supervision (may be conducted in a clinical or simulated setting):
- 1 Airway skill
- 1 Breathing skill
- 1 Circulation skill
