ACEM feedback on the Sepsis Supplement. Whilst providing general practice recommendations, it has concerns that it does not adequately fulfill its stated purpose, is too short, simplistic and generalised. ACEM advises adhering to stated intent, providing a list of reference materials, or a definitive review strategy for clinicians.

The Medical Board of Australia is updating the Guidelines for Telehealth Consultations with Patients. The Guidelines had not been updated since 2013 and required revision in light of the rise of telehealth due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Submission on Guardianship and Administration Amendment Bill 2022(TAS)

The Tasmanian Faculty Board made a submission to the Guardianship and Administration Amendment Bill 2022. The Faculty Board's view is that legislation research terms should be amended to align with other states/territories and that deferred consent be included so people can participate in medical research and clinical trials.
