ACEM supports for the draft outcomes framework and approach to understanding mental health and wellbeing. It believes that all New Zealanders have the right to access mental health care that is mana-enhancing, and free from stigma and discrimination. This must apply in all mental health care settings.

Review of the Tasmanian State Service

ACEM response to the Review of Tasmania’s State Service with concerns around EM workforce being able to respond to increasing care needs. Concerns around inadequate levels of staff, reliance on locums, long stays, access block, IT and tech which particularly affects Aboriginal people and patents in rural, regional and remote locations.
