ACEM - ACEM CPD Platform News and Updates

The new ACEM CPD Platform was released on 2 January 2024.

You have told us that improved mobile functionality and speed are important to you, and these are areas of priority in the creation of this new platform, along with enhanced cyber security measures to keep your data safe.

The CPD Team will be regularly post updates to the FAQs to keep you across the phased release of improvements and updates here.

Platform FAQs

When can I start using the new ACEM CPD Platform?

The new ACEM CPD Platform will be available from 2 January 2024.

All your 2024 CPD activities will be logged in this new platform.
Why are we moving to a new platform?

Effective of 1 January 2024, The Medical Board of Australia and the Australian Medical Council (AMC) introduced changes to the CPD registration standards.

ACEM has taken this opportunity to update the CPD Platform to improve functionality and participant experience. These changes also allow the College to open CPD membership to other registrants.
How can I access the new ACEM CPD Platform?
You can access the new ACEM CPD Platform in either of two ways:
1. Log in using the URL mycpd.acem.org.au. We recommend bookmarking this URL in your browser for easy access.
2. Navigate from the quick access menu in the existing portal you are currently using for the 2021-2023 CPD cycle.
I'm having trouble logging in. Can you help?

Use your existing credentials to login to the new ACEM CPD Platform at mycpd.acem.org.au.

How can I access previous years records?

You can access your previous years records at any time within the existing CPD portal.
Why does the new ACEM CPD Platform look different?

ACEM has taken the opportunity to improve the look and feel of the ACEM CPD Platform to deliver a more intuitive and seamless experience for CPD participants completing their annual requirements.
I can’t seem to locate some features in the new ACEM CPD Platform. Why is this?

As part of our commitment to creating a platform that is genuinely informed by emergency medicine specialists, a phased rollout of the new platform will be implemented. A crucial part of the development process will be to action your ongoing feedback to guide platform updates, new features, and improvements throughout 2024.

The new ACEM CPD Platform currently has everything required to log activities and complete your professional development plan. More features will be progressively rolled out in the months to come.
