The 2027 Aotearoa New Zealand Emergency Medicine Conference will be held in stunning Queenstown.

The three-day event will feature pre-conference workshops, a welcome reception, 1.5 days of conference sessions, and a conference dinner. Bringing together over 100 delegates, the conference delivers a high-quality scientific program.

We are seeking expressions of interest from FACEMs and trainees who are keen to collaborate in curating an engaging, inspiring, and evidence-based program.

He tono motuhake ki ngā kaikōkiri Māori – a special invitation to Māori champions and leaders.

We particularly encourage expressions of interest from Māori FACEMs, trainees and kaikōkiri who are passionate about hauora Māori and strengthening Māori representation within emergency medicine.

We are also seeking Māori advisors to support the working group throughout the planning process.

This role would involve attending working group meetings and providing cultural guidance and advice to help ensure the ASM is respectful, inclusive and reflective of tikanga Māori.
