ACEM 'snapshot' highlights ED challenges

More than a third of Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand hospital emergency departments (EDs) have funded specialist positions they cannot fill, and 130,000 patients last year spent more than 24 hours waiting in an ED, according to the latest findings published by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM; the College).
