We are looking for local (Melbourne based) FACEMs to participate as Mock Candidates in the upcoming 2026.2 Fellowship OSCE Examination.
Mock Candidates participate in OSCE station rehearsals each morning prior to the commencement of the examination. This is a vital step in ensuring OSCE stations run smoothly and that the best possible experience is provided for sitting candidates. This way examiners gain a true representation of what a candidate may experience throughout the examination.
The role is voluntary and requires no prior knowledge of the OSCE stations.
Single or multiple day participation is welcome.
Dates: Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 September and Tuesday 15 to Wednesday 16 September
Venue: Australian Medical Council, National Test Centre, Melbourne, VIC
You would be required to attend for approximately two hours on the morning of the exam. Please note travel costs are not covered by the College. Your participation will be recorded as CPD activity.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in ACEM examinations. Participation as a mock candidate is looked upon favourably for those interested in joining an examination working group, or for those wanting to become an examiner in future.
