Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini.
Success is not the work of one but of many.

ACEM is proud to announce that our Māori Health Strategy has been named Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana by Dame Rangimarie Naida Glavish DNZM, JP Ngāti Whātua me Ngāti Hine. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to her for this honour.

Initially launched in 2019, Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana has been revised, and the latest version, Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana: Excellence in Emergency Care for Māori for 2022-2025, has been released. This reaffirms our commitment to providing excellent emergency care for Māori patients, whānau, and staff. The revised version (2022) aligns with Whakamaua – the MOH Māori health action plan.

The vision of our Manaaki Mana strategy is that all emergency departments in Aotearoa, New Zealand, will embody Pae Ora standards, providing excellent, culturally responsive care to Māori in an environment where Māori patients, whānau and staff feel valued and where leaders actively seek to eliminate inequities.
