Cultural competence in the clinical context involves tailoring care to meet patients’ social, cultural and linguistic needs.
ACEM has developed three eLearning modules which aim to improve FACEM's abilities to assess cultural competence in trainees and to provide meaningful feedback. The modules were written by the ACEM Assessing Cultural Competence Reference Group.
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) acknowledges the Wurundjeri People, the Traditional Owners of the land upon which the ACEM head office is located in Melbourne, Australia.
