Rhys is an Emergency Physician from the South Coast of NSW. After completing undergraduate studies at the University of NSW, Rhys' career began in South West Sydney, entering Emergency Medicine training at the earliest opportunity. Training across a range of practice settings including central Australia and London, Rhys returned to South West Sydney to attain Fellowship and a Diploma of Leadership and Management.
Rhys works at Campbelltown Hospital and holds an academic position at Western Sydney University, as well as being an APLS instructor and co-founder of the Network of Women in Emergency Medicine. Rhys is interested in sustainable access to healthcare, clinical leadership, equity and inclusion.
