This exciting opportunity will involve:

  • Policy Development: This includes preparing submissions and reports to help drive policy change and advocacy.
  • Policy Expertise: Help develop and define standards in policy and guidelines to address systematic issues in the workplace, hospitals and broader system.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders of ACEM including its committees and related entities, for information and advice on projects, policy and advocacy priorities.
  • Research: Conduct research and reviews of evidence-based literature relevant to Emergency Medicine standards and policy.


The ideal candidate would have:

  • Exposure to policy development in Government, Education or a Medical setting.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills in developing policy documents.
  • Well-developed engagement and consultation skills, including the ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

 
This is an exciting time to be part of the team as you will have an opportunity to participate in a trial with a range of work options and flexibility, including work a 9-day fortnight and get paid for 10 days!
