The COVID-19 EMCoP was being established in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services and Safer Care Victoria.

Participation is open to all clinicians working in emergency care from any profession i.e. prehospital, EDs, UCCs, nurses, doctors, allied health. The EMCoP is an opportunity for you to share information, ideas, strategies, local solutions and concerns with respect to COVID-19 pandemic preparedness and responses. We are pleased to share that the EMCoP membership now has over 300 doctors, nurses, paramedics, managers and other emergency service providers.
 
The Community of Practice aims to provide a forum for the two-way flow of information between key government decisionmakers and the emergency medicine workforce.

Aim of EMCoP

The Community of Practice held regular meetings aiming to provide a forum for the two-way flow of information between key government decisionmakers and the emergency medicine workforce. 

Who is welcome to join?

Membership is open to all working in or with emergency departments. This open membership to allow the free flow of information between frontline workers, and key Government decision makers and the other way around. Representatives should include all the different service ‘clusters’ across metropolitan and rural Victoria including border towns.
