Are you planning to train overseas?
If you have been selected for an overseas placement in a country other than Australia or New Zealand, you must receive written approval from the ACEM Council of Education before starting the training. Obtaining this approval is important, as any training undertaken before the date written approval, will not count towards becoming a Fellow of ACEM.
How long can I train overseas?
The maximum amount of overseas training that will count towards your training requirements differ for Provisional and Advanced Training:

- Provisional Training – Up to six months Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) of approved non-ED or discretionary training.
- Advanced Training – Up to six months FTE of approved non-ED training and six months FTE of approved discretionary training (ED or non-ED).
