Born in ‘original’ South Wales, Stuart went to medical school in London. He left Britain in 1992 to move to Aotearoa New Zealand. He spent some time drifting through various specialities before finding his niche in Emergency Medicine. The things he appreciates most are the unpredictability, and the combination of practical and academic requirements of the job. He enjoys dealing with trainees and helping them through their ED journey.
